Study Arrangement
The first to third years |
Participants will be employed by the participating companies as apprentices. For the first 3 years, the employer will sponsor the apprentice to study the Higher Diploma programme at IVE for one day and two evenings per week. |
Allowance & Salary*
The first to third years |
Participants will receive a total of $30,800 Industry Incentive Allowance and $90,000 government subsidy from their employers and the government respectively. Given a guaranteed monthly salary not less than $9,000# and an average of $2,500& government allowance, the total monthly income will be above $10,000. |

& For apprentices who join the VTC Earn & Learn Scheme on or after 1 April 2024, they will be entitled to the Monthly Apprenticeship Training Allowance of $1,000 per month during the apprenticeship.
Tuition Fees
- Employer will sponsor the tuition fees.

- VTC Foundation Diploma (Level 3) / Diploma of Foundation Studies; or
- VTC Diploma in Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Education; or
- Yi Jin Diploma / Diploma Yi Jin ; or Equivalent.

Higher Diploma in Computer & Electronic Engineering
Study Arrangement
The first year |
Participants will study the full-time Higher Diploma in Computer & Electronic Engineering programme at IVE. |
The second to third years |
Participants will be employed by the participating companies as apprentices. For the second and third years, the employer will sponsor the apprentice to study the Higher Diploma (HD) programme at IVE for one day and one evening per week. |
