Study Arrangement

The first to fourth years |
Participants will be employed by the participating companies as apprentices. For the first 3 years, the employer will sponsor the apprentice to study the Higher Diploma programme at IVE for one day and two evenings per week |
Allowance & Salary*

The first to third years |
Apprentices will receive a total subsidy of $30,800 from their employers, a guaranteed monthly salary not less than $9,000# and an average of $2,500& government allowance. The total monthly income will be above $10,000. |

Full-time on-the-job training with a guaranteed monthly salary not less than $9,000#. |

# For apprentices who join the VTC Earn & Learn Scheme on or after 1 April 2024, the guaranteed monthly salary will be adjusted to $10,000.
& For apprentices who join the VTC Earn & Learn Scheme on or after 1 April 2024, they will be entitled to the Monthly Apprenticeship Training Allowance of $1,000 per month during the apprenticeship.
Tuition Fees
- Employer will sponsor the tuition fees.

- Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; or
- VTC Foundation Diploma (Level 3) / Diploma of Foundation Studies and with successful completion of Foundation Mathematics III; or
- VTC Diploma in Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Education with successful completion of Mathematics 3G; or
- Yi Jin Diploma/ Diploma Yi Jin with successful completion of Mathematics Plus; or
- Equivalent.

Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Study Arrangement

The first year |
Participants will study the full-time Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering programme at IVE. |

The second to third years |
Participants will be employed by the participating companies as apprentices. For the second and third years, the employer will sponsor the apprentice to study the Higher Diploma (HD) programme at IVE for one day and one evening per week. |
