Design and Print Media
Hong Kong is one of the major printing centres around the world. The uprising trend of digital printing and digital media gives new impetus to the printing industry. Technologies such as 3D printing also create business opportunities in the industry. Young talents possessing relevant skills and creativity will have the advantages to develop a career in the field.

Flexible Articulation Pathways | : | Graduates can pursue further studies to acquire higher qualifications and become a professional in the field |

Study Arrangement
The first year: |
Participants will study a full-time Diploma of Vocational Education (Design and Print Media) programme at the Youth College. |
The second to fourth years: |
Participants will be employed by the participating companies as apprentices. Employers will also sponsor apprentices to study the part-time-day-release DVE programme. |
Allowance & Salary*
The second to fourth years: |
Participants will receive a total subsidy of $30,800 from their employers, a guaranteed monthly salary not less than $8,000# and an average of $2,500& Government Allowance. The total monthly income can reach up to $10,000. |

The third year of training Monthly salary not less than $8,000# and an average of $2,500& Government Allowance |

* Mode of issuing subsidy and Government Allowance may vary across trades and industries.
# For apprentices who join the VTC Earn & Learn Scheme on or after 1 April 2024, the guaranteed monthly salary will be adjusted to $9,000.
& For apprentices who join the VTC Earn & Learn Scheme on or after 1 April 2024, they will be entitled to the Monthly Apprenticeship Training Allowance of $1,000 per month during the apprenticeship.
Tuition Fees
Secondary 3 to 5 graduates studying the Diploma of Vocational Education can enjoy free tuition. |
