There are three programme boards under the Hospitality Discipline:
Hotel & Catering
Offering training in Hospitality Management, Guest Services, Front Office Operations, Food and Beverage Service and Food Production, etc., to enable students to develop their career in the hospitality and catering industries. Graduates may proceed to managerial positions such as Front Office Manager, Banquet Service Manager, or Assistant Housekeeper after gaining further experience.
Tourism & 'MICE' (Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition)
Covering areas such as Tour Guiding & Escorting Practices, Global Distribution Systems Practices, e-Travel and Agency Operations and 'MICE' Planning, etc., to enable students to develop their career in the tourism industry. After gaining further operational experience, graduates may advance to positions such as Airline Ground Service Manager, Tour Management Manager, Tour Operations Manager, Ticketing Manager, Event Manager, etc.
Leisure & Sports
Offering training in Leisure and Recreation Programming, Facilities Design and Maintenance, Clubhouse and Spa Operations to provide manpower for the leisure industry. Programmes under Sports Management and Coaching cover areas such as Sports Skills Development, Facilities and Sport Technology, Sports Coaching and Business Management in the Sports Sector. Graduates may work as Assistant Leisure Services Manager II of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Assistant Clubhouse Manager, Recreation Officer, Sports Event Coordinator, Sports Coach, etc.
