The “2+1 International University Track” is a through-train pre-enrolment scheme, jointly set up by School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) and the UK partner universities. Commencing academic year 2017/18, all newly admitted IVE Higher Dipolma (HD) students in the Hospitality Discipline will be offered an International Track, which affirms a smooth articulation to a relevant Bachelor Honours Degree programme offered by designated partner university upon successful completion of their HD. The degree programme has been accredited by Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) as a locally accredited programme pitched at QF Level 5. Full-time students aged 25 or below are eligible for government means-tested grants and loans as operated by Student Financial Assistance Agency. The qualification is formally recognized by the HKSAR Government for employment purposes within the Civil Service for graduate posts. Lectures are conducted at the campus of SHAPE.
