LRC provides one-stop-shop services including:

1. Library materials lending services
House of over 50,000 volumes of course related printed and audio-visual materials, subscribed to around 100 titles of Newspaper, Journals and Periodicals. A special collection from PEAK Management Resource Centre provides discipline related materials to PEAK users.
|

2. Inter-Campus Loan
All circulating materials of the VTC Library are available on request via the Inter-Campus Loan (ICL) service. Users may reserve them via the VTC Library Online Catalogue, and collect the materials from the selected pickup location. Loan items could be returned to any of the VTC libraries.

3. Photocopying & Printing Services
With ITSU’s help, we provide free quota printing for IVE (MH) full time student in LRC, Octopus charged photocopying and printing are also available.

4. Loan of Electronic Equipment
Notebooks, iPads, Drawing pads and Quick sketchpads are available for IVE (MH) students to loan at the Circulation Counter.

5. IT Free Access area and Independent Learning area
We provide more than 90 sets of Personal computers with Internet access in LRC, most of them are located in IT Free Access area and Independent Learning area.

6. User Education
LRC orientation programs are organized for new students at the beginning of each academic year. They aim to provide users with information on using LRC resources effectively and efficiently.
|

7. Mini Conference Room
LRC provides mini conference rooms for teachers and students to book for group study. Each room is equipped with a smart board. (Temporary unavailable until further notice.)
|
|
8. Book Drop Service
Book drop returns for non-overdue printed materials only, overdue books, books accompanied with AV materials and all non-print materials (e.g. CDs, DVDs, portable computers, etc.) are not allowed to be put into the book drop. Book drop boxes locate at the outside of the LRC entrance and outside the 6/F of VTC tower lift lobby.
