Students are always encouraged to learn more about the business and cultural environments of the local market and other countries. With the visits arranged by the department, students can understand the operations of local companies, experience the culture and lifestyle of other countries, interact with university students to identify the cultural differences and explore the differences in business operations between Hong Kong and those of other countries.

Higher Diploma in Retail Innovation and Management (BA114046)
This programme organizes overseas study tours for students to understand the retail development in other countries or cities, which prepares for their store operation projects and enriches their global vision. Apart from the yearly merchandising tour to mainland China, students have visited South Korea, Thailand, Japan and Australia over the past years.
Higher Diploma in Accountancy with Business Analytics (BA114047)
Spending a week in a foreign country is a great way to learn about its culture, people and educational environment and an effective way to improve students’ English. Higher Diploma in Accountancy with Business Analytics (BA114047) students visited London and attended lectures in the Sheffield Hallam University. Such visits widened the students’ horizon and deepened their understanding of the business environment in the UK.

A visit to “MY Super eCommerce Co., Ltd.” in Shenzhen for HD students helped them understand the operation of an e-Commerce Company.
30 Students from various Higher Diploma in the Business Discipline (Haking Wong) visited Sydney, Australia. The visit was a great way to provide an opportunity for the students to familiarize themselves with the economic development and business operations of enterprises in Australia. Students attended the workshop offered by TAFE, NSW, Australia.

Higher Diploma in Global Business Management with Languages (BA114049)
To provide more global elements to our Higher Diploma in Global Business Management (BA114049) with Languages students, overseas visits from 6 days to 30 days will be regularly arranged. Destinations include UK, Australia, Japan, Korea, etc. Students in this photo completed a traditional Japanese dying workshop and an exchange with the boss at Kosoen.
