The Department offers programmes in electrical engineering and computer & electronic engineering at different levels and study modes to meet the needs of students and employers. The programme curriculums are designed not only for equipping students with professional knowledge and practical skills in the related engineering fields, but also for developing students’ creative thinking and problem solving capabilities as required for an outstanding engineer. The training enables students to make greater contribution in the engineering industry after their graduation.

Most of the graduates are employed in the following fields of engineering services:

- Engineering consultancy: electrical installation, air conditioning, elevator maintenance

- Electrical services: electric power equipment of the building, the railway system

- Power companies

- Sales and support services of electrical equipment

- Communication and networking support

- Development of mobile application

- Development of IoT and embedded system application
