Welcome to IVE (Sha Tin).

IVE (Sha Tin) is a dynamic place for students to learn and grow. For more than 30 years, the Institute itself has also learned and grown to cope with the challenges and opportunities in this ever-changing world so as to ensure the provision of quality and valued educational choices to young graduates and working adults.

At IVE (Sha Tin), we provide you with a wide range of programmes, which are pegged at different Qualifications Framework (QF) Levels, in the disciplines of Health and Life Sciences*, Business, Childcare, Elderly and Community Services, Engineering, and Information Technology. You will find opportunities here to develop knowledge and skills required in your chosen profession, and to progress to an Honours degree step by step. Our dedicated academic and supporting teams will guide you through the learning process.

There are superb resources and facilities available at IVE (Sha Tin), e.g. interactive learning environments with industry standard equipment, and state-of-the-art learning resources centre. Moreover, you will enjoy a green learning environment with more than 200 trees in the campus! We grow trees and nurture our students and staff here – showing our commitment to care for the earth and care for people.

A variety of activities and programmes are also organised by our Student Development Office to facilitate students’ whole-person and all-round development. For example, students have chances to share views on social issues through overseas exchange tours; to develop leadership skills through voluntary services in countries like Cambodia. Moreover, there are seminars and career talks conducted by industry leaders and practitioners from time to time. We encourage you to grasp every opportunity to explore, to experience and to equip yourself with attributes for your future career and for lifelong learning, such as, the ability to communicate with others, entrepreneurship and leadership, multi-disciplinary knowledge.
