“I am an outgoing person, always ready to take on new challenges. On completion of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), I decided to enroll into the IVE Higher Diploma in Tourism and MICE programme. I aspire to a career in the hospitality industry and am eager to equip myself through the diversified learning mode of the IVE.
During my Year One study, I was offered the valuable internship opportunity in a travel agency in addition to the traditional classroom learning. In the course of internship, I was able to observe the actual operation environment of the business and apply knowledge I have learnt in school to the actual tasks. The experience did not only widen my horizon, but also gave me a chance to obtain real life working experience. More so, I am going to participate in an exchange programme to Singapore, which will definitely further enhance my learning experiences!”
