Major Duties:
(a)	To support non-local student admission exercise:
	-	verify the qualification of applicants;
	-	perform interview to access the applicant’s ability; and
	-	coach the non-local student to finish their registration;
(b)	To provide academic support to students;
(c)	To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; and
(d)	To participate in discipline / campus / departmental projects and functions, including consultancy services and seminars, where necessary.

Requirements:
(a)	A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;
(b)	At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry / commercial experience;
(c)	Good communication, teaching and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Cantonese and Putonghua;
(d)	Self-initiative and be a good team player; and
(e)	Candidate(s) with good understanding of VPET education and teaching experience in VPET setting would be an advantage.

Notes:
(1)	Applicants with less experience may be considered for the post of “Part-time (Daytime) Assistant Lecturer” at the rank of Teaching Associate.
(2)	Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to attend a written assessment.
(3)	The appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours /outside normal office hours and / or at different work locations on a need basis.
(4)	Immediate available is preferred.

Applicants not invited for interview within 10 weeks from the closing date may consider their applications unsuccessful.
