    Officer (MIAO)
    Mainland and International Affairs Office

    Major Duties:
    (a) To build and maintain relationships with admissions agents, providing them with the necessary information and resources to effectively represent our institution to prospective students;
    (b) To identify and develop relationships with feeder schools, promoting VTC's programmes and opportunities to students, parents, and school staff;
    (c) To represent VTC at trade shows, conferences, and other events, providing information about VTC’s educational offerings and answering questions from prospective students and their families;
    (d) To manage the development and distribution of marketing materials, such as brochures and presentations, to effectively showcase our institution to prospective students and their families;
    (e) To track and analyse data related to student recruitment efforts, providing input and suggestions for improvement to managers;
    (f) To provide administrative support to the admissions team, such as maintaining records, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements; and
    (g) To perform administrative duties related to human resources management, financial and supplies matters and general office administration.
       
    Requirements:
    (a) A relevant recognised degree or equivalent;
    (b) At least 2 years’ work experience, preferably in organising student activities / international events / marketing activities;
    (c) Relevant experience in educational institutions, public sector or NGOs; experience in non-local student admission and school liaison would be an added advantage;
    (d) Preferably with good knowledge and understanding on Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) system of Mainland and different countries;
    (e) Good communication, interpersonal, organisation, data analysis and project management skills;
    (f) High proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua, proficiency in other languages is also welcome;
    (g) Outgoing personality and self-initiative, willingness to meet challenges, ability to work independently, and be a good team player; and
    (h) Good IT knowledge and presentation skills.
     
    Notes:
    (1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
    (2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment.
    (3) Appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours.
    (4) Appointee(s) will be required to travel to Mainland and / or overseas for short periods of stay.
