Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects, tutorials and assessment; |
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(d) |
To assist in coordinating and executing promotion or marketing activities and events, including photo shooting and video editing; |
(e) |
To support other functions and projects, relevant boards and committees, or task teams, including but not limited to drafting papers, reports and serving as secretary; |
(f) |
To monitor the operation of relevant training venues, including routine maintenance of equipment / facilities, procurement and store inventory; and |
(g) |
To participate in departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars, exhibitions and graduation show. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Fashion Design / Image Design, or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
Preferably with hands-on experience in the relevant field; |
(c) |
Good teaching, administrative, interpersonal and team building skills; |
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; |
(e) |
Proficiency in computer software applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Chinese word processing and proficiency in video and photos editing software applications such as Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign / Premiere Pro / Lightroom, CapCut; and |
(f) |
Records of linkage with industry / professional bodies would be an advantage. |

The post is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4) |
Appointee(s) will be required to work on Saturdays, irregular hours, outside normal office hours, and at different work locations as needed. |
(5) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
(6) |
