Major Duties: |
(a) |
To assist in planning and organising a variety of projects, events, and publicity activities of the department; |
(b) |
To liaise and communicate with various stakeholders as well as manage the operations of the events; |
(c) |
To perform administrative duties in respect of one or more of the following areas: |

(i) |
Human resources management; |
|
(ii) |
Student and course related administration; |
|
(iii) |
Academic Administrative support (e.g. Student admissions, student records activities and matters relating to course planning and operation) |
|
(iv) |
Financial and supplies matters; and |
|
(v) |
General administration and facilities management; |
(d) |
To supervise and coordinate the work of clerical and supporting staff to ensure effective operation and management of the operational unit; |
(e) |
To undertake committee work in various committees, boards and meetings; and |
(f) |
To help implement the quality policy of the department. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree or equivalent; |
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience at the executive level, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations; |
(c) |
Good communication, problem solving, interpersonal, organisation, time management and administrative skills; |
(d) |
Self-initiative, willingness to meet challenges and the ability to work independently; and |
(e) |
A high level of written and spoken language proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(3) |
Candidates may be required to work outside normal office hours. |
