Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform administrative duties in respect of one or more of the following areas: |
|
(i) |
human resources management; |
(ii) |
student and course related administration; |
(iii) |
administrative and academic support (e.g. student admissions, student services, student records activities and matters relating to programme planning and operation); |
(iv) |
financial, supplies and procurement matters; and |
(v) |
general administration and facilities management; |
(b) |
To assist in planning and executing events, projects, and publicity / promotional activities for the Department and the Discipline; |
(c) |
To assist in developing promotional materials such as publications, videos, websites, digital contents and social media; |
(d) |
To supervise and coordinate the work of clerical and supporting staff to ensure effective operation and management of the operational unit; |
(e) |
To undertake committee work in various committees, boards and meetings; and |
(f) |
To assist in coordinating projects and events, and the publicity matters of the operational unit. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Communication or related discipline; |
(b) |
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience at the executive level, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations; |
(c) |
Familiar with marketing or social media will be an advantage; |
(d) |
Familiar with design related software such as Photoshop, Premiere and Illustrator would be an advantage; |
(e) |
Good problem solving and time management skills; |
(f) |
Self-initiative and be a good team player; and |
(g) |
A high level of written and spoken language proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
