Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum, and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
(d) |
To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
Preferably with relevant teaching and/or industry experience in sports industries; |
(c) |
Coaching qualification in one or more of the following sports from National Sports Associations or Sports Associations: track & field, in-line skating, fencing, lacrosse, handball, baseball, volleyball, yoga, rugby, social dance and aerobic dance etc.; |
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably Putonghua; and |
(e) |
Good records of linkages with the industry or professional bodies would be an added advantage. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
