Major Duties: |
(a) |
To conduct lectures and workshops / tutorials of the assigned modules(s) including the preparation of teaching materials, supervision of students’ projects, marking student assessments and other academic activities; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to non-local students admission, as well as student, academic, and departmental administration; |
(c) |
To carry out promotion duties for BA programmes in the Mainland and overseas; |
(d) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment material, and to assist in validation and accreditation of the programmes; and |
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions, including solicitation of potential employers in the Mainland and overseas for the workplace learning and assessment (WLA), as well as other consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Business Administration, Aviation Services, or a related discipline, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience, preferably in the areas of Aviation Service; |
(c) |
Familiar with the operations of the commercial sector in aviation industry including airline operations, ramp services, ground services, air cargo handling and airline catering; |
(d) |
Proven networking capability with leading companies in the Aviation Service sectors in Hong Kong, the Mainland, and overseas is preferred; |
(e) |
Experience in and knowledge of recruiting and working with non-local students, particularly those from the Mainland, is highly desirable; |
(f) |
Good understanding of Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET); and |
(g) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua. |

(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(3) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and take business trips in Mainland or overseas. |
(4) |
Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available. |
