    Term Assistant Lecturer
    Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwai Chung)

    Major Specialisms:
    i) Chemistry 
    ii) Life Science
    iii) Health Science
    iv) Environmental Science
       
    Major Duties:
    (a) To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement;
    (b) To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
    (c) To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;
    (d)
     
    To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions; amd
    (e) To participate in course promotion and education advices to students.
     
    Requirements:
    (a) A recognised relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with post-graduate qualification; and
    (b) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese.
     
    Notes:
    (1) The post is in the rank of Teaching Associate.
    (2)

     
    Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
    (3) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment.
