Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including student assessment, and operating and maintaining training facilities and equipment to support teaching and learning; |
(b) |
To provide support in programme operations; |
(c) |
To assist in programme development and review of programme curriculum; |
(d) |
To prepare and update teaching and assessment materials; |
(e) |
To perform duties in relation to student administration including student admission and records, job replacement and other student activities; |
(f) |
To assist in coordinating / organising special events and competitions; |
(g) |
To implement quality assurance policies; and |
(h) |
To maintain and enhance networks with the industry and related associations. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised higher diploma in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry; |
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
(d) |
Good knowledge of basic computer applications; and |
(e) |
The ability to pass a trade test. |

Notes: |
(1) |
Candidates without the required academic qualification stated in the Requirement (a) above but possessing 8 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry may also apply. Where applicable, these candidates may be required to have a Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 3 qualification. |
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
