Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching and training duties; |
|
(b) |
To prepare lesson plan; |
|
(c) |
To develop and prepare training materials; |
|
(d) |
To develop and prepare assignments, examination papers and marking schemes; |
|
(e) |
To mark students’ assignments and examinations; and |
|
(f) |
To carry out duties related to student and academic administration. |
|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
(i) |
A recognised degree in Chinese Language / Chinese Language and Literature / Language Studies (Chinese) / Chinese Linguistics / Education (Chinese) or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; OR |
|
|
(ii) |
A recognised degree in Translation / Communication / Teaching Chinese as a Second Language or as a Foreign Language. A transcript with course details should be provided for consideration. AND |
|
(b) |
(i) |
Grade B, Level 2 or above in the Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (PSC) - Putonghua Proficiency Test administered by the State Commission on Language Work; OR |
|
|
(ii) |
A pass in the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers (Putonghua) administered by the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) or equivalent. |
|
(c) |
At least 3 years’ work experience in relevant industry or language teaching; |
|
(d) |
Strong presentation and facilitation skills; |
|
(e) |
Proven experience in corporate training or teaching; |
|
(f) |
Good communication skills and the ability to motivate students are definite advantages; and |
|
(g) |
Native Putonghua / Cantonese and Fluent English Speaker is preferred. |
