Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, including teaching relevant Information Technology and Mathematics modules at sub-diploma and diploma levels, supervision of students' projects/fieldwork; |
(b) |
To carry out student and academic related duties; |
(c) |
To develop course curriculum and teaching and learning materials; and |
(d) |
To participate in campus / departmental projects and functions, including STEM related activities / competitions, digitalisation, consultancy services, seminars and exhibitions, where necessary. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognized degree or professional qualification in related subjects, such as Computer Engineering / Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Multimedia or Engineering, preferably with post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
Preferably with experience in teaching Information Technology, Multimedia, Engineering and Mathematics subjects at sub-diploma level; |
(c) |
Good communication, facilitation and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
(d) |
Strong commitment to serve the youth and less academically-inclined students; |
(e) |
High motivation for new project development, preferably with experience in Education related project / Learning package development / Module assessment; |
(f) |
Experience in the design of teaching and learning packages, and proven records of linkage with industry or professional bodies would be an advantage. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English. |

Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available. |

The successful candidate is subject to posting in different sites to suit the Council’s operational need. |
