Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To assist in developing learning and teaching materials on various technologies relevant to Smart City development for students and teachers, including but not limited to STEAM workshops and seminars by using project‐based learning approach; |
(d) |
To assist in organising activities for STEAM & Smart City development and carry out the implementation work of projects, training, competitions and outreach events; |
(e) |
To assist in facilitating project plans and system specifications for procurement and site installation; and |
(f) |
To provide support in daily operations, meetings, events, and activities and supervise technical staff of the Centres. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree, preferably in a STEAM‐related discipline or equivalent; |
(b) |
Preferably with relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
(c) |
Mature, independent, dynamic, creative, self‐motivated, be a good team player and able to work under pressure on tight schedule; and |
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
(5) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
