Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To carry out various administrative duties; |
|
(e) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; |
|
(f) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |
|
|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Chinese Medicine, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
Qualification of a registered Chinese medicine practitioner of the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong; |
|
(c) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
|
(d) |
At least 5 years’ Chinese medicine clinical experience, familiar with acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, Tui-Na, bone-setting, etc., and operational management of Chinese medicine clinics would be an advantage; |
|
(e) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(f) |
Good work initiative, interpersonal and organisation skills; and |
|
(g) |
Good records of linkages with the industry would be an added advantage. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(3) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
