Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
(d) |
To participate in campus / departmental projects, events and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Jewellery Design or Entertainment and Event Design, Exhibition Design, Film Production, Interactive Media, Multimedia and Entertainment Technology, Set and Costume, Stage and Set Design, Theatre Design, Theatre and Technical Arts, or equivalent professional qualifications; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industrial experience in the above subject areas, preferably with hands-on experience in the relevant field; |
(c) |
Good administrative, interpersonal and team building skills; |
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
(e) |
Good records of linkage with design organisation, professional bodies, or teaching experience would be an advantage. |

Applicants are required to submit a 3-page A4-size portfolio to demonstrate the competencies. |
(2) |
Shortlisted candidate will be required to take a written assessment. |
(3) |
Appointees may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
