Term Technician

Major Duties:
(a)	To provide technical supports to teaching activities and be responsible for laboratory equipment installation / maintenance, and training session preparation;
(b)	To assist lecturers during laboratory / practical classes and field works;
(c)	To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores and equipment;
(d)	To assist in implementing safety measures in laboratories and maintaining the tidiness of the workshops / laboratories; and
(e)	To provide technical support to special projects and events.

Requirements:
(a)	A recognised diploma or higher certificate in the areas of environmental science, analytical science or relevant disciplines;
(b)	At least 2 years’ relevant work experience;
(c)	Good knowledge of environmental monitoring techniques;
(d)	Good work initiative and be a good team player; and
(e)	Candidates with solid experience in both laboratory operation and maintenance of equipment / instrumentation are highly preferred.

Note:
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
