Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To carry out the promotional activities of “STEM in PE Design Competition”; |
|
|
(b) |
To develop “Skill Passport” for visitors; |
|
|
(c) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
|
(d) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
|
(e) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; |
|
|
(f) |
To organise semi-final and final pitching in the assigned venue; |
|
|
(g) |
To work with participating schools to establish “STEM in PE Corner”; |
|
|
(h) |
To showcase the awarded projects with stakeholders; |
|
|
(i) |
To prepare handbook and reports for the competition; |
|
|
(j) |
To solicit funding for the competition; and |
|
|
(k) |
To oversee the procurement activities. |
|

|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
|
|
(c) |
Solid experience in organising STEAM-related competition; |
|
|
(d) |
Good knowledge in funding applications and management; |
|
|
(e) |
Good experience in supporting pitching / publicity activities; |
|
|
(f) |
Preferably experience in providing secretarial support for working group / committees; |
|
|
(g) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
|
(h) |
Strong initiative, good interpersonal and administrative skills. |

(1) |
The post is in the rank of “Lecturer”. |
|
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
|
(4) |
The appointees may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours / work on shift duty and/or outside campus. |
|
|
(5) |
Immediate availability is preferred. |
