Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties in the Specialisms listed below: |
|
|
- |
Python Programming / Java / C# Programming |
|
|
- |
IoT / Artificial Intelligence Applications Development |
|
|
- |
Mobile Apps Development (Android and/or iOS platforms) |
|
|
- |
Information Technology Applications |
|
|
- |
Multimedia Websites Design and Practices |
|
|
- |
Mathematics (from HKDSE to University levels) |
|
(b) |
To coordinate & support students’ industrial attachment projects; |
|
(c) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(d) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(e) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
|
(f) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Software Development / Information Communication Technology / Computer Engineering or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ teaching and/or industry experience in relevant field and preferably in at least one of the specialisms mention in major duties (a) above; |
|
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(d) |
Good records of connection with the industry or professional bodies will be an advantage. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Applicants with less relevant experience may be considered for the post of "Term Assistant Lecturer" at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
