    Term / Part-time Instructor (Hair Styling)

    Major Duties:
    (a) To perform teaching duties including student assessment, operating and maintaining training facilities and equipment to support teaching and learning;
    (b) To assist in programme development and teaching and learning packages;
    (c) To perform duties in relation to student and academic administration; and
    (d) To participate in departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to fashion show, consultancy services, research studies, short courses, seminars and exhibitions, where necessary.
     
    Requirements:
    (a) A recognised higher diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent;
    (b) A least 3 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry;
    (c) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese;
    (d) Good records of linkage with industry or professional bodies would be an advantage; and
    (e) The ability to pass a trade test.
     
    Notes:
    (1) Candidates without the required academic qualification stated in the General Requirement (a) but possessing 8 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry may also apply. Where applicable, these candidates may be required to have a Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 3 qualification.
    (2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
