Multimedia Language Laboratories
Language Centre offers five Multimedia Language Laboratories for teaching and learning.
All Multimedia Language Laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including high quality computers and audio recording systems. Interesting student-centred activities in pronunciation, business communication and other specific writing skills can be better facilitated. These skills are most useful for work and study. The Multimedia Language Laboratories are also fitted with a Full HD Laser Ultra-Short Throw Interactive Projector, supporting electronic pens and touch-enabled interactivity. With the spacious area and a large screen for clear display, both teachers and students could make good use of the multi-touch capabilities to highlight or annotate key knowledge with digital ink for teaching or learning, bringing in a more dynamic and engaging learning experience. All the necessary measures, including the computer screens, the design of students’ booths and a designated barrier-free space for wheelchair users, are adopted to cater for students’ needs, contributing to a more inclusive learning environment. As a whole, provided with a wide range of sophisticated teaching and learning equipment and facilities, Multimedia Language Laboratories are ideal places for language learning.
