The Department offers a wide range of higher diploma programmes in the areas of: biotechnology, pharmaceutical science, food technology and safety, beauty and personal care products, occupational safety and emergency operations and dispensing studies.

Job opportunities in the health and life sciences* areas are ample and diverse. Our graduates are well received by employers. Many of our graduates have established rewarding careers in the business sector and with government agencies. We provide articulation arrangements with some local and overseas universities for our graduates. They may choose to pursue top-up degree programmes to obtain a bachelor's degree, in one year for full-time mode, or in two years for part-time mode.
