Introduction
HealthTech Centre was established with the support of Applied Science(AS) Discipline. It aims to facilitate the application of health technology in the society and introduce to the industry the latest developments of health technology. Through the provision of health services, the Centre showcases the application of health technology to the community, provides health information for the public, and offers internship to IVE students.

Multimedia Wall
The 80” Multimedia Wall is equipped with a Kinect system,
designed to provide both physical and cognitive training
to participants via Multimedia Cognitive Training Game.
Bocusini 3D Food Printing Systems
3D Food printing brings molecular cuisine to the Centre.
Virtual Reality Smart Glove
Pepper
Pepper is a kind, pleasant and likable humanoid robot.
Its capabilities of recognising human emotions (e.g. joy, sadness, anger or surprise) and
adapting his behaviour to the mood of his interlocutor make it a day-today companion for everyone.

Serving the Community
The Centre is to serve the public, especially the elderly in the neighbourhood of Kwai Tsing district, offering preventive health maintenance and monitoring services to the community.
The Centre is also a training venue to provide healthcare STEM education to secondary school students.
